Living with a Rare Blood Disorder and Covid
Why is the most isolated person in the United States promoting MEDICAL FREEDOM?
As I brought up in my previous Substack piece, the reason why I can’t get vaccinated with any of the vaccines on the market & why a number of doctors have told me that it’s a suicide mission if I do.
Also, I’m very glad that I did not listen to my hematologist & get the Johnson & Johnson vaccine. This doctor, who I ironically have an appointment next week with to discuss my latest bloodwork, will likely continue to spew the lie of the 99% of hospitalizations and deaths are among the unvaccinated.
However, I’m very realistic about COVID for someone like me and I do believe that it could easily lead to very bad results for an immunocompromised person like myself with a rare blood disorder. But if I get vaccinated with the vaccines currently on the market, I’m very likely dead or permanently injured. This is why I’m very isolated from the world.
It’s a lose-lose situation for an immunocompromised person like myself. But as everyone has learned at some point or another, life is not fair and can be very cruel at times. Covid did that to me and many other people.
For the critics, you must remember that there is a 1 in 7000 chance of having ITP or thrombocytopenia in your life and it’s even less for those living with severe chronic ITP. It sucks living with this condition or knowing that I have had this condition for the past 25+ years.
Medical Freedom is about much more than just me. Healthy people should not be treated the same way as someone immunocompromised like me. A child should not receive the same treatment as a senior citizen.
For 95% of the world, the pandemic should be over. Sadly, I’m in the 5% that it is not and possibly won’t be for a long time to come.
Nonetheless, no immunocompromised person should be gaslit or treated horribly because of a condition that they contracted by no fault of their own or genetics.
People should not be forced into a medical procedure without proper informed consent and people asking very important questions. I have had to be this way for more than 25 years and now more than ever. I should not be told by ANY doctors that I ask too many questions. Furthermore, any vaccine manufacturer, drug company or medical institution should be liable for ANY injury or death that occurs post-vaccination or after someone takes a drug, if proper informed consent or warning was not given.
I do believe that I’m alive today because I said no to the Johnson & Johnson trial one week before I was going to do this.
I want MEDICAL FREEDOM for EVERYONE, including those who disagree or harass me. I have decided to sacrifice the rest of my life so that people are not prisoners and can be free from the corporate medical tyranny that has overwhelmed our planet for the past 30+ years. I’m ok with being isolated and protected. It has been in my nature because I have worked alone for nearly 2 decades and I have learned to live this way for most of my life.
For my family, friends and other people who think I’m very sad and depressed that I don’t want to be around people. Yes, it is sad at times, especially not visiting certain people and not going to sporting events to either attend as a fan or work, along with other activities.
But I do know that being around people does increase the risk of contracting Covid and having very bad results from the illness for someone with my condition. I also know that based on 30+ scientific papers so far and the mainstream media that the vaccines can cause thrombocytopenia (ITP/TTP/TTS) in healthy people. So for someone with severe chronic ITP, it’s Russian Roulette. I’m legitimately in a very small group that has deep concerns of being around people because of the aerosol spread of the illness. However, when I’m alone and isolated, I’m fine. Furthermore, I have taken full advantage of technology, so I am able to FaceTime, Zoom and communication with others.
Personally, I’m doing well, except for certain issues that occur with my chronic ITP, such as headaches, occasional nose bleeding and incredible fatigue. This has happened through the years. I hid it because I did not want people to know what I go through with this chronic condition. I wanted to live as normal of a life as possible. I never wanted my chronic disease to overcome me.
Unfortunately, a horrific pandemic occurred and that changed things. It became clear that I do have to be extremely concerned about this. I also believe that I’m still alive today because I have been very isolated from the world.
For those wondering on average life expectancy for a patient with a platelet count under 30,000, the following chart shows it from the 2001 research paper, “The natural history of refractory idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura” by Benjamin Djulbegovic.
But again, I am in the rare boat. Like I said, the pandemic should be long over for 95% of humanity, including many higher risk patients. We should be promoting good health, exercise, clean eating and other positive aspects of health.
The only way that this pandemic ends is if we come together as a species and say enough is enough. Don’t worry about me. Human are meant to react with other humans. This is why the most isolated person in the United States is promoting MEDICAL FREEDOM. This isolated man has been and is telling people all around the world to go ahead, live your life and live it to your fullest, even with the omicron variant spreading like wildfire.
I was extremely fortunate to live an amazing life for 39 years, but genetics and chronic blood conditions SUCK. I have adjusted to isolation and honestly, I’m glad that I don’t eat out and technology does do very good at times. My blood levels aside from my platelet count are really good overall because of losing weight and getting healthier. I brought my Vitamin D count up to 65.
If I did not have chronic ITP, I would be enjoying my life on vacation right now because I know the chances of dying from Covid in my age group are very small. I lost and kept off 100 lbs in this pandemic to make those chances smaller, but being immunocompromised does not help.
If there is one piece of advice that I tell people, it is to live your life to the fullest when you can. You never know when something devastating or catastrophic will occur. I will continue to fight for medical freedom for EVERYONE until my final breath.
I’m very thankful and grateful to those who have signed up already to the Medical Freedom Substack and God Bless You!!!
Much sympathy with the bleeding, we are a family of Factor VIII hemophiliacs.. huge Irish clan lost half our guys from tainted blood transfusions thank the Clinton's Arkansas Prison program.. we also got a dose of the political fallout and Dr Fauci interventions. grrr.. many chapters in that story
But on the health side there are nutritional things that do help alot even with platelets. Vitamin C 1000my twice a day does wonders to strengthen the micro-capillaries and it kicks butt as an immune booster and front line germ killer.
Someone with a French name joined the OU thread in the last two days & offered holistic MD insights.. he'd be a fab resource for more. Never underestimate the power of Mother Nature to work miracles & keep that wonderful outlook! :~)
