For those who know me, I have worked in the sports media field on and off for 19 years as a second career and now as a somewhat primary career.
So the last 48+ hours brought music to my ears on what Kyrie Irving has done to shove it right in the face of NYC Mayor Eric Adams. Irving is the star point guard for the Brooklyn Nets, who has only been allowed to play in road games this season because he is unvaccinated and Adams has kept a vaccine mandate order in place for all New York City employees, including sports teams. It’s incredibly stupid because visiting workers and teams are exempt from the mandate and none of this is backed by science.

On Tuesday night, he did this…
Nice job Kyrie and good luck for the rest of the season!!! At least the Nets are so much better than the Knicks and Mayor Adams continues to devastate the once “Greatest City in the World.”
